Jesus is Lord

Colossians 1:17-18  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. ¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.    

 Jesus is 100% God and 100% Man but He is also 100% Lord.

Colossians tells us that Jesus holds everything together and in everything He has supremacy.   Think about that for a moment.  Jesus holds everything together...this vast universe, the stars in the sky and all the planets are held together by Him.  He holds the earth together.  He holds us together!  He is Lord over all.  He is the supreme authority.  And because of who He is and what He did for us, we owe Him our allegiance.  He is Lord, the supreme master.  He has absolute control.  He didn't have to die for our sins but He did.  He died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead, we owe Him our allegiance.

The word Lord means one possessing absolute control; supreme master.  That is Jesus.  Jesus is Lord of all.

Jesus is 100% Lord.
